2012 Calving Season

We have been blessed with a tremendous crop of baby calves this year. Our mild winter temperatures and abundant dormant grasses allowed our mother cows to come into calving at peak body condition. Everyone is looking good and the overall herd health is outstanding. We still shake our heads and wonder why so many of our neighbors choose to have newborn calves in late winter and early spring. We know in our hearts we are doing it nature’s way when we see newborn baby deer with their mothers grazing along side our Red Angus cattle. Nature provides the perfect model to care for all of its creations.
